Samsung Color E-Paper (EMDX)

The Samsung Color E-Paper (EMDX) is a lightweight, paper-thin display that brings printed communication into the digital realm. Its 32-inch WQHD (2,560 × 1,440) E-Ink Spectra 6 panel reproduces rich, natural colour while preserving the calm, glare-free readability of paper — ideal for retail shelf edges, restaurant menus, transit notices, and office signage.

Because e-paper only draws power when the image changes, the EMDX consumes zero watts while displaying a static image, and its built-in 4,600 mAh battery can run for up to ~200 days on a single charge at one update per day. A 17.9 mm profile, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/USB-C connectivity, and a dedicated mobile app mean it can be placed almost anywhere without dedicated infrastructure.

Managed through Samsung VXT and the Tizen Enterprise Platform, and built with recycled materials, Color E-Paper is a practical, energy-conscious way to replace static paper with dynamic, remotely-updatable content. A compact 13-inch model is also available.
